Ceramic Art in Tulsa's Pearl District

Red Heat Ceramic Art Studio is Tulsa's newest ceramic studio located in the Pearl District. Here, local ceramic artists can find affordable access to studio space and professional quality equipment. Ceramics classes and workshops are offered for adults of all levels, from beginning to experienced artists. We also host visiting artist workshops, studio sales, and group exhibition opportunities for resident and studio members.

 

Classes & Workshops

Our studio hosts a collection of regular seven-week classes on a rotating schedule, from beginning through experienced ceramic artists. We also host a variety of topical and visiting artist workshops throughout the year. Wheel Throwing: Teapots

Take your throwing skills to the next level! Wheel throwing workshops are designed for experienced clay artists who want to increase their skill level by learning new and more advanced forms.

Narrative use of the hand in clay. This course will explore the hand as metaphor in clay. One or pair of hands will be made by each student. Students will be taught the anatomy of the hand and how to construct the form out of clay.

In addition to our schedule classes and workshops, Red Heat Ceramic Studio is also home to a group of member artists. Memberships are available at different levels, whether you need to rent a gas kiln or a full semi-private studio space.
