Narrative use of the hand in clay. This course will explore the hand as metaphor in clay. One or pair of hands will be made by each student. Students will be taught the anatomy of the hand and how to construct the form out of clay. All hands will be fired and glazed.
All weekend workshops are two days and cost $250. Classes meet both days from 10-4 with a short break for lunch. Each class accommodates 6-8 students. Community tools are provided. Studio clay, glaze and firing are included.
